The stock air box uses a restrictive flat paper filter. It is too small and loads up with dirt too easily.
This air box uses a 4" I.D. filter that is clamped to a heavy duty aluminum ring. It has 2 times more dirt holding capacity than the stock filter and there is no chance of it coming loose or allowing dirt to pass.
Better throttle response and more power across the entire RPM range.
This air box comes with 2 different lids. One lid will seal the top of the air box completely, just like your stock air box, so all air will come through the stock snorkel. With the full lid you will see a 2 horsepower increase. The second lid has an opening on both sides for increased air flow and a 4 horsepower increase. The third option is to run with no lid at all for a 6 horsepower increase. No fuel management unit is required with either lid in place. If you remove the lid, you will need a fuel management unit to see a 6 horsepower increase.
You will need to use your stock throttle body to air box tube. This air box is designed to allow for a perfect seal and smooth air flow from the air box into the stock tube eliminating the restrictive stock set up. The black rubber tube shown in some of the pictures is a stock tube. It is not included.
Unlike your stock air box, this air box can easily be installed or removed in a few minutes without the hassle of removing or loosening the front fenders.
The only aftermarket air box that allows you to use your stock snorkel, drain boot and crank case vent.
This air box does not come with a crank case vent filter. Uses UNI filter UP-104 or K&N 62-1340 crank case vent filter.
Does not come with an intake filter.
Uses UNI filter NU-4102ST or K&N filter part number HA-4250.

This air box comes with an aluminum ring welded to the front and a 2 3/4" ID silicone hose eliminating the need to use the stock throttle body to air box tube. The stock throttle body to air box tube has a smaller 2 5/8" ID and requires that you seal it to the box with a silicone adhesive.
