No modifications are required to your electrical system other that routing the wires in the box.

This air box will only fit 400EX and 400X 1999-2007 models .
This airbox allows you to relocate the battery, starter solenoid, voltage regulator and wiring to the inside of the airbox where it is protected from rocks, mud, etc.
The picture shows the starter solenoid bracket mounted above the filter. We have relocated it lower in the airbox to make more room for the air filter.
Does not come with a filter. Works with any filter available for the stock air box.
