Installing this airbox and re-jetting your carb will give you a 3-5 hp increase.
If you leave the lid on, no re-jetting is required.
The stock air filter has a restrictive 3" I.D. Our air box uses a 4" I.D. filter. It also has 30% more dirt holding capacity. This means that you will get more life out of each air filter that you buy.
Mounting brackets are made from extruded 1/8" thick 6061 aluminum for high strength.
The air box is made from 5052 series aluminum for high strength, and excellent corrosion resistance.
Does not come with a filter.
Uses UNI part number NU-4102ST and K&N part number HA-4250.
These air filters allows for 50% more airflow than any air filter available for the stock air box.
